Dimity Stoyle takes on the world!
Recently our very own Dimity Stoyle was selected to represent Australia in the upcoming ISA worlds. She has a full schedule over the next 6 weeks, travelling all over the world competing.
She recently updated us on her itinerary.
Mid week she flew over to Perth for the 3rd ASP Pro Junior event for this year. At this point in time she is ' op seed and wants to keep it up! Whilst in Perth she will be meeting up with fellow Billabong team mates Felicity Palmateer and Georgia Fish. From Perth the three will be travelling together to Europe.
First stop - France! The girls jump out of the plane and straight into the water for the Swatch Girls 6 Star WQS competition at Hossegor. From here they train to Portugal for the Billabong Girls 6 Star WQS at Estoril before flying to London for a few days of exploring and shopping!
From London - Dim will make her way to the beaches of LA to meet up with the Australian Team. "I am so excited on making the Australian team!" She said "It has been one of my goals forever to represent Australia."
From LA, its straight on to Panama. Dimity can't wait to hit up central America, saying- "I have always wanted to go to Central America, it looks so cool over there! It looks so beautiful and the water will be warm!"
We asked her about how she has been preparing herself recently; "The past few weeks I have been so busy getting everything organised, I am going to be away for nearly 6 weeks and I am going to 2 different climates from cold to hot so I need to get everything prepared." She said "I have been training hard too with lots of surfing, gym and yoga. I can't wait to take on the world's best!"
Dimity was featured on the front page of the Sunshine Coast Daily this past weekend. We are so excited for her travel plans and upcoming competitions!
Be sure to keep an eye out for her!
Best of luck Dim!!
