GIRL CRUSH; Pam Penno
Who is Pam Penno?
A Brazilian girl who left everything behind to live a dream life by the sea in Bali.
What does a typical day in paradise look like for you?
Typical day is a beach day, followed by good food. Bali has so much to offer, waterfalls, rice fields, volcanos, mountains, cliffs, beaches and more beaches. So there is always something to explore. I started riding bikes when I was 13 back home in Rio. So my favourite thing to do is to jump on my bike and go on an adventure. Bali is pretty hectic now so I love escaping to the areas where I can still avoid the crowds.
Tell us your health and fitness secrets, any go to routines?
I try my best to work out at least 5 days a week but I’ve been failing in it due to work and laziness haha! I’d rather just stay all day on the beach tanning, playing with my dog, swimming, playing ball... But my genetics help a lot! At school I was bullied for being so skinny. But now that I’m a “big girl” I take advantage of it, I eat everything and I don’t make any diet plans. I love food and I want to eat all the time. Actually, I’m eating right now haha.
You travel a lot, what are your top 5 places to visit in the world?
Hmmm, tough one. I spent 3 months in Oahu, Hawaii. Swimming with the turtles was my favourite thing to do over there. Also watching the sunset on the beach while drinking a glass of wine at the end of every day. Recently I went to Algarve in Portugal and I loved it. I lived in Italy for 3 years and got to travel a lot throughout the country. Sicily was my favourite city so far. Warm weather, crystal clear water, and very receptive people. Fiji is also beautiful and of course Indonesia with and abundance of islands to explore.
But I still have so many places to see. Mexico, Morocco, Maldives, South Africa and India are on my list.
Any tips for comfy travelling?
On the plane I like to travel with loose clothes and joggers. Sometimes I wear my boyfriend’s clothes, it’s the best!!!
