Merewether Takes Out The Boardriders Battle At Forster
The Be the Influence Australian Boardriders Battle was greeted by another day of perfect four foot waves when competition resumed at Booti Booti National Park.
In a fierce battle that came down to the last final of the Teams division, Merewether and Le-Ba Boardriders fought tooth and nail in an attempt to claim the number one spot. However, due to the standout performances of power-surfer Jesse Adam, Merewether were able to clench the victory in the final heat, beating the star-studded Le-Ba team by a mere 370 points.
Surfing across both the Skins and the Teams divisions, Adam proved to be one of the standout surfers of the event taking two straight Skins victories and locking in two 8.37 rides in the Teams final.
