SOLI BAILEY STANDOUT PERFORMER AT FINAL PRO JUNIOR STOP FOR 2012.
Soli's amazing effort at the 5 STAR Event has hurled him into 4th spot on the Australasian Pro Junior Ratings and secured the final spot in the coveted OAKLEY / ARNETTE / BILLABONG World Junior Championships later in the year.
Soli is only the youngest Australian and only the second 16 year old to ever qualify for these Championships through the Pro Junior Series. A big congrats to Soli and look forward to his great results continuing into the second half of the year.
"I'm really stoked with second place," Bailey said. "This is the best result I've ever had in a Pro Junior. This will push me up the ratings a bit too, so I'm stoked with that. I'm happy for Wade (Carmichael), he's moved into number one on the ratings and he's been surfing great. I was so happy to be in the Final with him. I'm bummed to not win, but I've got more confidence now heading into future events."
