• Splendour in the Grass Day 2

Saturday, what a day! Not a threatening cloud in sight, however a cool breeze swept the fields, but once again that didn't keep anyone away.

At 2:20 the Last Dinosaurs played and they went off! Their feel-good futuristic tunes had everyone tapping their toes. They definitely satisfied the audiences hunger for good music! They played some of their new songs off their recent album, like 'Andy' and 'Weekend', and they were awesome!

I dropped on by to see all the billabong crew at their sweet as set up and had a look at what was going on. There was a mini salon set up for anyone who wanted to go a bit crazy and get some wicked colours in their hair! Easily applied using a Colour Bug, you could go pink, purple, blue, you name it! Definitely an awesome idea if you want to spice up your splendour look for the day!

They also had an 'Instagram' stall which allows you to choose any photo off of your phone and print it on a singlet! How cool is that!?

If you were interested in chillin' out and taking a break from the main stages, the Smirnoff cocktail bar was definitely the place to go! DJ's playing all the time including Alison Wonderland, it was definitely the place to be if you wanted a good dance.

Ladyhawke and Muscles were two must see acts! Both intriguing hundreds of fans they both delivered unforgettable performances. Muscles played for a solid hour and yes he played that one song everybody was deeply craving, 'Ice-Cream'.

Later in the night Lana Del Ray and 360 played and then the ultimate decision whether to see Bloc Party or Hilltop Hoods. Both amazing acts, I think either decision was a good one! The tents were packed, and from the constant roar from the audience I think it's safe to say both acts blew everyone away. What a way to end the night!
