Romy Frydman, creative director, stylist, and beach babe took Laura Enever, a few pieces from our Autumn collection and her camera to Byron Bay for some photoshoot fun. We LOVE the results! As long time followers of Romy's work, it was such an honour to work with her. See the full editorial on her blog stylemeromy.com. We sat down with her once we wrapped up to chat all things surf and fashion...

My first memory of Billabong is the vintage tees with the old school logo in fluro colours, kind of like the 80s heritage styles. Also having a Billabong backpack at school, everyone had to wear uniforms so your backpack was like your statement piece!

Love the white sheer, lacey top in this collection - I think it's called the Second Nature top, and the Bedford Cardi, it's so boho chic! Definitely can't go past the neoprene Surf Capsule either, I might just have to take up surfing or stand up paddleboarding just so I can wear it!

I love that Billabong has a distinctive fashion point of view, you can really tell a Billabong print and style. I love the touch of hippiness, the merge of boho and beach - it's just like Byron which is my favourite holiday destination and place to shoot. That's why we are here today! Billabong and Byron, a match made in heaven.
Must haves for Autumn? Little ankle boots, I will be buying that navy felt fedora in the Billabong range too, and of course my new Gucci coat.
