Surfing and Training Down Under

Before the Australian Open of Surfing started Frederico Morais, Peterson Crisanto and Ryan Callinan cruised over to Forster with photographer Duncan Macfarlane to get some practice and training in before the big event. Needless to say, the surfed more than they trained...but from the looks of it, that was a good plan.
Peterson finds a little nugget and some shade.
Ryan's always looking to filmers for some help.
This is not a fly away, Peterson stomps these on the regular.
Assessing the conditions and talking style.
Ryan's average air is just about this high.
Peterson doesn't put his board on rail often, but when he does, a lot of water is displaced.
Frederico brings color everywhere, he is both that stoked and that careless about fashion.
Post session froth mode: ON.
You may think Ryan is trying to show off, but all he is trying to do is show you his spray jobs.
Peterson, all smiles...and why not?
Ryan's got style to back his boosts.
It's not all fun and games when your goal is to make the WCT, you have to train in boardshorts too.
Let the fins free Ryan, let them free.
Frederico takes notice of the backdrop and flies for happiness.
Remember what we said earlier about Peterson going on rail? No lie.
These guys train like jiu-jitsu fighters.
Come back Peterson, come back!
Frederico shows you his bottom.
